Lesson Packages

Lesson Packages are for anyone who works with women and their families during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period eg. midwives, doulas, birth keepers, childbirth educators, obstetricians, GPs, etc.

They are also aimed at anyone involved in teaching people who work with women and families eg. lecturers, online course coordinators, mentors, etc.

However, the content is also helpful for parents wanting more in-depth information about a topic.

When creating the lesson packages, I selected three lessons that relate to the package topic.

Some lessons appear in multiple packages, e.g. Induction vs Spontaneous Labour.

The time commitment for packages varies slightly because the individual lessons vary between 30 min to 90 mins.

This learning content of the Lesson Packages can be used towards CPD. The terms 'points' and 'credits' are sometimes used to refer to CPD hours. However, most midwifery registration boards (eg. Australia, United Kingdom, Canada) do not require learning activities to be accredited by a particular organisation. Instead, they require midwives to record CPD hours. Please refer to the guidance provided in your country regarding your CPD requirements.
